Amplifying the role immigrants play in our essential workforce

#ImmigrantsAreEssential is a creative media campaign sponsored by Resilience Force and the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) that uses videos, commissioned artwork, graphic portraits, outdoor billboards, murals and other media to amplify the role that immigrants play in the essential workforce. The campaign engages celebrity influencers and a network of online content creators to amplify the contributions of immigrants who are saving lives every day and who will also make recovery from the pandemic possible—health and care workers, farm and factory workers, transportation workers, disaster response workers and more.

The campaign’s message is that there is no COVID or climate disaster recovery without immigrants and we must pay, protect and honor all essential workers, including immigrants. As a result, politicians are increasingly talking about how “immigrants are essential” for COVID response and recovery work and should, therefore, benefit from government protections and investments.

As of this writing, the campaign has received more than 300 million impressions on social media for more than 80 pieces of commissioned artwork. Amplify the stories on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter at @ResilienceForce, @NILC and the hashtag #ImmigrantsAreEssential.
